Virtual Staging & Virtual Tours

Here at the DK Group, we are using every tool at our disposal to maximize return on investment for our clients. This post highlights two of those tools.

1.) Virtual Staging - Ordinarily, we recommend that our clients consider getting their property staged with furniture. This typically involves 2-5 people being present at the property to unpack, carry, and place the furniture and decor. In an effort to minimize person-to-person interaction during the coronavirus pandemic, we have pivoted to virtual staging. We have our professional photographers shoot the empty property, then send those photos to professional virtual stagers who digitally enhance the photos with virtual furniture and decor. Here’s a before and after from our new listing at 6015 Berkeley:

2.) Virtual Tours - We’ve used Matterport 3D scan technology for more than 2 years now, and it’s gaining massive popularity right now. Since public open houses are forbidden, and private showings are being minimized, it’s important for buyers to be able to feel like they have “walked through the property”. Matterport 3D scanning creates an experience that’s similar to Google Street View, except for the interior of the property. Below are scans from 3 of our current listings:
